This violin, a copy
of the Plowden Giuseppe Guanery del Gesu, was completed in the white
while I was still living in Italy, but the finishing touch and the
varnish is strongly influenced by my restoration work with the old
Cremonese master instruments. This gave me the possibility to really
give it a similar appearance to the original.

This violin was made on my personal pattern. The top is from superb spruce from the Tyrol region. Back plate and neck are from Bosian Maple. Newly fitted with a fine set up which enhances its strong projection and rich sound.
