Since 1991 I have been working with wood, initially working as a
joiner/cabinet maker producing fine
furniture. In September 1999 I joined the Milanese Violinmaking School and graduated with best marks. I made
several violins, violas and violoncellos in Cremona, while at the same
time I
assisted Luca Primon in his workshop in Milan.
In March 2004 I
started working with Florian Leonhard Fine Violins Ltd, currently holding the position of Workshop Manager.
I have mainly
been involved in extensive restoration on old italian instruments including Niccolo Gagliano,
Lorenzo Storioni, Giovanni Rota, G.B. Cerutti, G.B. Guadagnini , Antonio Stradivari,
and many more.
